Read this before you move the selector off OFF
This unit emits laser radiation from its front face. Five of its eight selector positions are invisible to the naked eye and are still emitting when you cannot see anything happen.
- Never look into an aperture, and never point one at a face. That includes your own, and it includes doing it through a night vision device.
- Never point it at aircraft, or at anything reflective at close range.
- Treat the unit as emitting whenever the selector is off the O mark.
- Keep the aperture covers on when the unit is not in use.
- Do not open the housing.

This is an aiming device, not a sight
The NGAL projects a beam. It has no optics you look through and it does not amplify anything. The IR settings are visible only through a night vision device.
