The Night Operators Individual Program is a permanent storewide discount for serving and retired military, law enforcement, fire, EMS and search and rescue personnel buying with their own money. Verify once. It stays on your account.

Who qualifies.
Active, reserve, retired and honourably discharged all count. If you have served or are serving in any of the following, you are eligible.
All branches. Active duty, reserve, National Guard, veterans and retirees. Includes allied forces personnel resident in the United States.
Sworn officers at municipal, county, state, tribal and federal level. Includes corrections, court services, probation and retired sworn personnel.
Career and volunteer firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, wildland crews, technical rescue and tactical medics.
Volunteer and paid SAR teams, mountain and cave rescue, swiftwater, K9 handlers and mounted units. Volunteer status counts.
Wildlife and conservation officers, park rangers, border and port authorities, and emergency management personnel.
POST certified instructors and academy staff running low light or night curricula, including private instructors with verifiable credentials.
What to send us.
One document is enough. Email a photo or scan to verify@nightoperators.com from any address, using the same email you use on your store account.
Front only. Cover your badge number, ID number and date of birth before you photograph it. We only need your name, the issuing agency and that it is current.
For veterans and retirees. Member copy is fine. Cover your social security number and full date of birth. We look at the name, branch and discharge character only.
Front only, numbers covered. Photographing a CAC is permitted for identity verification of this kind, but redact everything except your name and branch.
Useful if you would rather not send an ID at all. The card shows the agency, the stub header shows you are currently employed by it. Redact all figures.
For volunteer teams with no ID card. A letter or email from your team coordinator confirming you are an active member, on team letterhead or from a team domain.
How we handle your documents
- We delete them. Verification images are reviewed by a person, the account is flagged, and the image is deleted within 7 days. We do not archive them and we do not store them alongside order records.
- Redact freely. Cover badge numbers, ID numbers, social security numbers, dates of birth and any figures. Redaction never slows down approval. We are confirming service, not running a background check.
- We never ask for a login. Nobody from Night Operators will ever ask for your agency portal credentials or a login to a third party verification service.
- One document is enough. If we need something else we will ask once and explain why.
Three steps, one business day.
Make a store account at nightoperators.com first, if you do not already have one. The discount attaches to the account, so it needs to exist before we can link it.
Email your verification to verify@nightoperators.com with the email address on your store account in the message. Redact anything sensitive. A phone photo is fine.
We review within one business day and link the discount to your account. It applies automatically at checkout when you are signed in. There is no code to remember or lose.
Program benefits.
Applies to the analog line, digital line, thermal, mounts, helmets and accessories. Unlimited use, no minimum, no expiry. Verify once and it is done.
Program members go to the front of the repair line. Target turnaround is 10 business days from receipt rather than the standard 15 to 20.
Moving from a 1400 to a 1600 tube normally carries a retail step. Program members pay our actual tube cost difference on the upgrade rather than the retail delta.
Program email goes to a small team, not a ticket queue. If you need setup help at 2am before a shift, say so in the subject line and it gets triaged accordingly.
The fine print, in plain language
- Personal purchases only. This program is for equipment you are buying for yourself. If your department is paying, use the agency program instead, where the pricing is better anyway.
- Not stackable. The discount does not combine with sale pricing, clearance, bundle pricing or agency tiers. It applies to regular priced items.
- Not retroactive. We cannot apply it to an order that has already been placed. Verify first, then order.
- Tied to your account. It is linked to you, not to a shareable code. Passing it to friends or family is the one thing that will get it removed.
- United States shipping. Image intensified night vision is export controlled, so analog units ship within the United States only. Digital and thermal have their own restrictions and we will tell you at checkout.
